Drivera Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 17, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of GoDrivera.com and your request, booking, payment, and rental of a vehicle from Drivera LLC ("Drivera," "we," "us," or "our"). By selecting the checkbox stating that you have read and agree to these Terms, submitting payment, or using our website or booking services, you agree to these Terms.
A vehicle rental is also governed by the confirmed reservation, the Drivera LLC Vehicle Rental Agreement, any applicable rider or addendum, and the insurance, protection-plan, roadside-assistance, and platform terms associated with the reservation. You must sign all required rental documents and satisfy all eligibility requirements before Drivera will release a vehicle.
1. Scope and order of controlling terms
These Terms apply to direct bookings processed through Wheelbase/Outdoorsy from Drivera's website and to related quotes, payments, communications, and rental services. They do not by themselves guarantee a reservation or require Drivera to release a vehicle.
If documents conflict, applicable law controls first. Issued insurance policies and applicable protection-plan terms control questions of coverage, eligibility, exclusions, and claims. The confirmed reservation controls its specific vehicle, dates, times, location, selected cancellation policy, pricing, taxes, and accepted add-ons. The signed Drivera Vehicle Rental Agreement and signed riders control vehicle possession, operation, responsibility, and return. Those documents control over these general website Terms for the same subject.
2. Electronic consent and records
You consent to receive and sign reservation records, disclosures, agreements, notices, and receipts electronically. Your checkout acceptance and electronic signature may be used as evidence of your agreement. You are responsible for providing a current email address, telephone number, mailing address, and other requested information.
You may download or print these Terms and should retain the confirmed reservation, signed rental documents, receipts, and protection-plan materials. Contact Drivera if you need a paper copy or cannot access an electronic record.
3. Eligibility and authorized drivers
The primary Guest must be at least 18 years old and must hold a valid, non-temporary driver license appropriate for the vehicle throughout the rental. Every person who may drive must be disclosed, approved, and verified through Wheelbase/Outdoorsy before release. Permission from the primary Guest does not make another person an authorized driver.
A Guest age 18 through 20 is charged $15 per rental day, capped at $150 per reservation. Current Wheelbase Auto Basic, Auto Essential, and Auto Premier protection options generally require drivers to be at least 25. A driver under 25 may rent only when Drivera approves verified renter-provided insurance or another platform-approved product and all required coverage and eligibility checks are complete before pickup.
Drivera may decline, cancel, or delay vehicle release if identity, license, payment, security deposit, driving eligibility, insurance, or verification information is missing, inaccurate, expired, or unverifiable.
4. Reservations, prices, payments, and deposits
Website availability, estimates, and quotes are not a confirmed reservation. A reservation is confirmed only when the booking platform identifies it as confirmed and all required payment and verification steps are satisfied. The confirmed reservation will show the vehicle or vehicle class, rental period, pickup and return information, daily rental amount, taxes, fees, protection selection, security deposit, and accepted add-ons.
You authorize Drivera and Wheelbase/Outdoorsy to charge the payment method on file, place or collect the disclosed security deposit, apply that deposit to authorized obligations, and invoice or charge properly documented amounts arising from the rental. A security deposit is security only and does not limit your liability, deductible, or responsibility for an uncovered loss.
Drivera may process later-discovered amounts for up to 90 days after return when Drivera provides a description and reasonable supporting documentation. Taxes and government-required surcharges are added as required by law. Payment processing and timing may also be governed by the platform's terms.
5. Cancellations, modifications, and no-shows
The cancellation tier displayed during checkout and in your confirmed reservation controls refunds and cancellation fees. Wheelbase's current direct-booking policy includes a limited grace period after confirmation, different refund schedules based on the selected tier and time before pickup, and no-show rules. Review the policy shown at checkout before paying.
A requested change is not effective unless Drivera approves it and the platform updates the reservation. Changing trip dates does not restart the original cancellation grace period. If Drivera cancels, refunds and replacement options are handled under the confirmed reservation and applicable platform terms.
6. Insurance and protection options
Before pickup, you must select an available Wheelbase/Outdoorsy protection option or provide other insurance acceptable to Drivera. Drivera does not promise that a personal policy, credit-card benefit, rideshare endorsement, or protection product covers a particular rental, activity, driver, vehicle, or loss.
Coverage is governed only by the issued insurance policy, protection terms, confirmed reservation, eligibility rules, exclusions, and the claim administrator's determination. You authorize reasonable insurance verification and information exchange among Drivera, Wheelbase/Outdoorsy, Axle, insurers, claims administrators, and recovery providers for underwriting, claims, recovery, and fraud prevention.
When you use renter-provided insurance, Drivera must verify active liability and physical-damage coverage applicable to the rented vehicle and intended use. Drivera may require direct confirmation from the insurer. Drivera will not release the vehicle until required coverage is verified.
7. Vehicle condition and permitted use
The vehicle's condition, odometer, fuel or charge level, dashboard, warning lights, glass, roof, wheels, tires, and exterior will be documented at checkout and return. You must promptly identify any condition not shown in the departure record and must operate the vehicle safely, use seat belts and required child restraints, secure the vehicle and keys, obey traffic laws, and drive only on maintained public roads suitable for the vehicle.
Travel is permitted within the continental United States. Canada requires Drivera's prior written approval and confirmation of applicable coverage. Travel into Mexico is prohibited. The rental includes 250 miles per rental day unless the confirmed reservation states otherwise. Additional mileage is charged at $0.25 per mile.
- No unauthorized or unverified driver.
- No impaired, reckless, racing, speed-testing, evasive, or illegal use.
- No towing, trailering, pushing another vehicle, or attaching a load or equipment.
- No off-road use or use on a road unsuitable for the vehicle.
- No smoking or vaping of any substance inside the vehicle.
- No animal other than a service animal required by applicable law.
- No hazardous or illegal material, overloading, unsecured cargo, or use beyond seating limits.
- No wrong fuel, ignored warning light, continued unsafe operation, intentional damage, exterior signs or equipment, subrental, early access, or unauthorized territory.
- No tampering with GPS, telematics, safety, emissions, odometer, or diagnostic equipment.
A prohibited use is a material breach and may reduce or void insurance or protection benefits. You remain responsible for resulting loss to the extent provided by the signed rental agreement and applicable law.
9. Maintenance and mechanical concerns
If a warning light, overheating, oil-pressure warning, charging-system warning, tire failure, brake concern, leak, unsafe condition, or material change in operation occurs, stop when safely possible and contact Drivera before driving farther or arranging repair or towing. No repair, tire replacement, tow, diagnosis, or service is reimbursable without Drivera's prior written approval, except emergency action reasonably necessary to protect life or prevent immediate additional damage when Drivera and roadside assistance cannot be reached.
For rentals longer than seven consecutive days, Drivera may request reasonable access to inspect or service the vehicle. Drivera vehicles are scheduled for routine service at intervals not exceeding 5,000 miles, or earlier when required by time, condition, warnings, manufacturer guidance, recall, platform terms, or safety concerns. Drivera will normally provide at least 24 hours' notice, but urgent conditions may require less notice. You must cooperate with reasonable scheduling and access requests under the Drivera Vehicle Maintenance Rider.
10. Return, extensions, and overdue vehicles
Return the vehicle, keys, and included equipment to the designated location by the exact date and time in the confirmed reservation and complete the return inspection. An extension is effective only after Drivera approves it and the extension is completed and paid through Wheelbase before the scheduled return. A request, message, or attempted payment alone is not approval.
A 30-minute grace period applies. After that period, you owe a $25 late fee plus the prorated rental rate. A late fee or attempted extension does not extend insurance or protection coverage. If the vehicle is overdue and you cannot be reached, Drivera may immediately begin lawful location and recovery efforts, contact Wheelbase/Outdoorsy, disable access where lawful and safe, and engage towing or recovery services. If the vehicle remains unreturned for 24 hours, Drivera may contact law enforcement and pursue available remedies. Whether conduct constitutes theft is determined by applicable law.
11. Accidents, theft, damage, and claims
For every collision, theft, vandalism, or hit-and-run, stop safely, call emergency services when appropriate, obtain a police report, protect the vehicle from further loss, and promptly notify Drivera and Wheelbase/Outdoorsy. Follow the reporting deadline in the applicable protection terms. Identify all involved persons, vehicles, insurers, and witnesses; preserve photographs and evidence; and cooperate with Drivera, insurers, the platform, and claims administrators.
From pickup through completed return, you are responsible for loss or physical damage to the vehicle and its equipment to the extent assigned by the signed rental agreement, confirmed reservation, applicable insurance, and law. Recoverable amounts may include reasonable repair cost, towing, storage, theft or total-loss value, reasonable loss of use, supported diminished value, missing equipment, deductibles, claim costs, and other documented direct loss. Loss of use is calculated at the booked daily rate for each reasonable inspection and repair day, supported by records, without charging overlapping rental revenue for the same vehicle and period.
12. Published fees and charge methods
Unless the confirmed reservation states a different permitted amount, the following charges apply. Fixed charges are intended to reimburse administrative loss that is difficult to measure and are not intended as punishment. If a fixed charge is unenforceable, Drivera may seek documented actual loss to the extent allowed by law.
| Charge or security item | Amount or method |
|---|---|
| Young driver age 18 through 20 | $15 per rental day; maximum $150 per reservation |
| Security deposit with Auto Essential | $250 |
| Security deposit with Auto Basic | $500 |
| Security deposit with verified renter insurance | $250 |
| Excess mileage | $0.25 per mile over 250 included miles per rental day |
| Late return | $25 after a 30-minute grace period, plus the prorated rental rate |
| Smoking or vaping | $250 |
| Excessive cleaning | $150 |
| Unauthorized animal | $150; service animals excluded |
| Refueling | Actual fuel cost plus $10 |
| Lost, damaged, or unreturned key | $250 or actual replacement and programming cost, whichever is greater |
| Unauthorized driver | $500 plus documented resulting costs |
| GPS or telematics tampering | $500 plus documented resulting costs |
| Formal recovery or stolen-vehicle case | $500 plus documented towing, recovery, storage, investigation, and related costs |
| Tolls and citations | Actual toll, fine, penalty, and issuer or government charge; no Drivera processing fee |
13. GPS, telematics, and rental data
Drivera vehicles contain GPS and/or telematics equipment. By accepting these Terms and separately acknowledging the signed rental agreement, you consent to Drivera's use of that equipment during the rental and while the vehicle is overdue, missing, stolen, or subject to recovery. Data may include location, speed, mileage, battery status, and vehicle diagnostics.
Drivera may use rental and telematics data for reservations, payments, driver and insurance verification, fleet management, maintenance, safety, roadside support, claims, fraud prevention, legal compliance, theft prevention, and lawful recovery. Drivera may disclose relevant data to Wheelbase/Outdoorsy, payment processors, Axle, insurers, claims administrators, service and recovery providers, professional advisers, and law enforcement when reasonably related to those purposes or required by law. Drivera does not use an interior audio or video recording device.
Do not submit sensitive information through an unsecured channel. Drivera retains records for legitimate business, claim, tax, safety, and legal purposes and limits retention when reasonably practical. These Terms describe rental-related data practices and do not attempt to describe third-party platform, insurer, payment-processor, or website-provider practices; review their notices separately.
14. Website use and third-party services
You may use GoDrivera.com only for lawful personal or business rental inquiries and reservations. Do not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy content at scale, impersonate another person, submit false information, or use the site to facilitate unlawful conduct.
The website may link to or use services operated by Wheelbase, Outdoorsy, Ride, payment processors, insurers, mapping providers, or other third parties. Their services and data practices are governed by their own terms. Drivera is not responsible for a third party's independent website or service, but this does not limit Drivera's responsibilities under applicable law or the signed rental agreement.
15. Responsibility, indemnification, and service limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Drivera LLC and its owners, employees, and agents from third-party claims, liabilities, fines, losses, and reasonable legal expenses to the extent caused by your or any authorized or unauthorized driver's negligent, reckless, intentional, illegal, or contract-breaching conduct. This obligation does not require you to indemnify Drivera for the proportion of a loss caused by Drivera's negligence, gross negligence, reckless conduct, willful misconduct, violation of law, or failure to maintain a vehicle in a reasonably safe condition.
Drivera will maintain rental vehicles in a reasonably safe and roadworthy condition and address known safety issues as required. Website availability, vehicle availability, travel plans, cellular service, telematics, and third-party services may be interrupted. Except where required by law or expressly stated in the confirmed reservation, Drivera is not responsible for indirect or consequential travel expenses. Nothing in these Terms waives a right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
16. Governing law and dispute resolution
Tennessee law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any lawsuit between you and Drivera must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Cheatham County, Tennessee, except that either party may bring an eligible individual claim in small claims or general sessions court. Drivera and you may mutually agree in writing after a dispute arises to submit that dispute to binding arbitration.
Nothing prevents either party from seeking temporary injunctive relief, vehicle recovery, or other emergency relief from a court. EACH PARTY KNOWINGLY WAIVES A JURY TRIAL TO THE EXTENT THE WAIVER IS PERMITTED BY LAW.
17. Changes, severability, and waiver
Drivera may update these Terms prospectively by posting a revised version and changing the Last Updated date. The version accepted when you book applies to that transaction unless a change is required by law or you expressly accept an updated version. A material reservation change may require a revised reservation or new signature.
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions remain effective. A delay or failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Obligations concerning payment, claims, evidence, indemnity, authorized data use, recovery, and dispute resolution survive vehicle return where their nature requires survival.
